Cozumel: Learning to Fly Underwater

Cozumel is the place where divers learn to fly. Famous for its crystal-clear water and consistent currents, the diving here is less about swimming and more about hovering while the ocean does the work. Known as "The Cozumel Drift," this underwater conveyor belt carries you effortlessly past towering coral formations and massive sponge gardens. It was famously declared one of the most beautiful places in the world by Jacques Cousteau in the 1960s, and the Palancar and Columbia reefs remain some of the healthiest and most vibrant in the Caribbean.

Why We Chose This Sticker Design

This design captures the feeling of effortless motion that defines a Cozumel dive. We centered the artwork on a Sea Turtle gliding peacefully over the reef, a daily sight for divers in this marine park. To represent the health of the ecosystem, we featured a massive, vibrant barrel sponge structure in the foreground—Cozumel’s signature coral formation. The background is filled with schools of tropical fish and a distant reef shark, emphasizing the incredible visibility and the busy "highway" of life fueled by the current.
