Otterseas was born from a simple idea: diving isn’t just a hobby — it’s a journey. One filled with milestones, marine life, memorable dives (and the occasional missing fin).

Hi, I’m Dan — a scuba instructor with over 10 years of experience guiding divers across the globe, from the vibrant coral reefs of Southeast Asia to haunting wrecks in the Mediterranean.
 

Along the way, I realised traditional logbooks were missing something: they didn’t help divers grow. That’s why I created The Dive Journal — not just to record dive stats, but to reflect, learn, plan, and relive every step of your underwater travels. With intuitive pages like the Diver’gram, marine life checklists, and global bucket-list maps, it’s a tool designed to improve training, boost awareness, and spark inspiration.
 

But Otterseas is more than just a logbook. From travel-ready dive journals to destination sticker water bottles, everything we make is built to help divers track, celebrate, and share their global dive stories — one reef, wreck, and weird critter at a time.
